Relaxed setting on the north shores of Whitefish Lake. Rustic, log style cabins have just enough space and all amenities you could need. Great atmosphere for the kids at the resort and great fishing and recreation on the lake!
My family has been going to Kilworry for around 40 years. My fondest childhood memories are from our vacations there. It's minimalistic- that's the whole point, but you won't be lacking anything. The cabins are beautiful & hand crafted, the people are the best, excellent fishing - not to mention the weekly fish fry with Norma's famous fish! Everybody is treated like family. If you are ever lucky enough to get a cabin, don't pass it up- leave the hustle and bustle of the cities far behind, & discover what it's like to relax & just breathe again. Once you've experienced Kilworry you will always want to come back - if for some reason you don't, ask Mary Jo or Jane to get a hold of me; I'd be happy to take the cabin ;-)

I love this resort. My family has been going since the 1960s and we have never left. The people who own it are really nice and friendly. It's always a good time the only vacation I look forward to every year.
It's rustic and simple, set back in the woods along the lake. No AC in the cabins so you have to sort out using fans correctly. People are all friendly including other guests. WiFi access is available to a degree but it's not easily accessible unless you are in or near the main building. Overall it is a great place to be in-between camping and staying in a full blown resort with all accomodations. It's worth the toughing it out.
Killworry is most kindest place to stay. When come to set check deer stands they let us leave the wheelers here. We leave to go home we leave all stuff in cabin so don't have to bring all stuff up for opener. The owners very kind. And pet friendly just keep up after them. Is a must. I give Killworry more then a 5 star!!!!
Someone from our family has been going here since 1929 and we fill the resort with extended family for a week every year. What a treasure this place is, run by an amazing family!
Very low pricing, and the cabins are extremely well kept, even though they're pet friendly, and so are the boats. Very quiet atmosphere. More than worth the price. They have boat or boat engine rentals, cabins of differing sizes, lots of parking, a small swimming area at the lake with a slide & platform, all of which are within easy walking distance from every cabin - but not so close that you get the noise from it. (Lifejackets and such available) Multiple fish cleaning shacks & a volleyball court. Fully stocked kitchen of cookware & appliances in each cabin, with a small grill outside. Pet friendly. The entire lake area also has cellphone coverage in case of emergencies. The only downsides are there's no wifi, and the cabins don't have AC, but since every cabin has a mosquito-netted windows & porch, this is easy to manage with all the lakefront wind. Very highly recommended!
